Something brand new for Witney Jazz: Irish composer, arranger and pianist John Donegan presents a show that uses the gorgeous melodies of ‘Romantic’ classical Polish composer Chopin such as Nocturne, Minute Waltz, Polonaise’s. Cunningly, he arranges these in a jazz setting with swing, jazz waltz and groove styles – the effects are stunning. John’s quartet will feature the immensely talented saxophonist Riley Stone-Lonergan, bassist Paul Jefferies and award winning bebop drummer Matt Fishwick.
