A Huge Personality with a Sparkling Performance to Match – imagine musical champagne! Kim Cypher’s performances bubble and fizz with delightful enthusiasm and joyful repartee. Saxophonist and singer Kim took a leap of faith several years ago to leave her life as a school music teacher and devote the rest of her career to making and celebrating music. Husband Mike Cypher also gave up his day job and embarked on a journey back to his jazz routes (he was principle drummer for Midlands Youth Jazz Orchestra back in his youth. This husband and wife team are now firmly established as a force to be reckoned with on the jazz and entertainment scene and they are constantly performing with their quartet (often with internationally acclaimed front line guests) to sell out audiences. Kim and Mike also run what has become one of the most popular online Jazz radio programme called The Big Jazz Hullabaloo on JazzBites radio. Performing with Kim and drummer husband Mike Cypher will be brilliant guitarist Chris Cobbson, pianist Richard Hughes and bassist Paul Jefferies.
